Organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, co-hosted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jiangxi Province and Montreal Confucius School, the Montreal Camp of "Chinese Culture Land" program opened on July 10. After 10 days' instruction given by the 12 teachers from Jiangxi Province, at 5 pm at Beaubois Theater, a grand report performance was given as part of the completion ceremony. Mr. Xing Wenjian, Vice Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Montreal, Mr. Francis Scarpaleggia and Mr. Frank Baylis, members of Parliament, Mr. Michel Gibson, Mayor of Kirkland, Mr. Alex Bottausci, DDO City Councilor and more than 20 leaders of overseas Chinese in Montreal were invited. Ms. Wang Yibo from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the PRC gave guidance for the performance on the site.
